DIY vegan beauty part 2

DIY Coffee Facial Scrub

6 Tbsp. coffee grounds*
1/4 cup olive oil

  • In a container, mix the coffee grounds with the oil. It should look like coarse mud.
  • Take a dollop of the scrub and rub it gently into your skin. Rinse thoroughly.

The scrub will stay fresh for several weeks at room temperature, but you can store it in the refrigerator.
If you'd like to make more or less than this amount, the ratio is 3 tablespoonfuls of coffee for every 2 tablespoonfuls of olive oil

*Note: The coffee grounds should be very fine. Put the grounds through a coffee grinder twice, if necessary.

Pumpkin Hair Mask
1 cup canned pumpkin purée
1/4 cup coconut oil

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the pumpkin and oil.
  • Apply to hair and cover with a shower cap for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Rinse and shampoo.

DIY  bronzer

What you'll need:

  • An old mineral makeup sifter jar (or you can pack it into an old compact)
  • Cocoa powder (or cinnamon)
  • Powdered sugar (or baby powder)

Mix your ingredients together until you've reached your desired shade for bronzing. Add more cocoa powder/cinnamon to darken, or add more powdered sugar/baby powder to lighten. Pour your mixture into the sifter jar and apply using a blush brush. Now gaze into the mirror and admire the beautiful, bronzed goddess that you are! ;)
